Peter Soltysiak
Accident lawyer Peter has been practicing general civil litigation for several years, and has been an effective and passionate advocate for injured plaintiffs. In the past, Peter has represented insurance companies, lending institutions, and small business. Peter has appeared at various levels of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Unified Family Court, as well as various tribunals including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Social Benefits Tribunal, the License Appeal Tribunal, and the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal.
Peter holds the following degrees from the University of Toronto: a Bachelor of Music in Performance, a Bachelor of Education (O.I.S.E.), and a Bachelor of Arts in History with High Distinction. While at the University of Toronto Peter figured on the dean’s List and received a number of awards. Peter obtained his bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen’s University Law School. While at Queen’s, Peter volunteered as a caseworker at the Legal Aid Clinic, where he serviced the underprivileged population of Kingston.
Peter completed his articles at the Hamilton offices of Gowlings Lafleur Henderson LLP. Prior to joining Findlay Law Offices, Peter was an associate at another well-regarded personal injury law firm in Hamilton
Prior to entering the legal profession, Peter enjoyed a successful career as a professional classical musician and teacher.
Outside of his profession Peter works on improving his musical and athletic skills with his children.
